Regional skill-building sessions focus on the Real Clout
rules and tools used by hundreds of community-based activists
around the country to successfully influence their own regional
policy makers.
Each session enables individual grassroots activists to practice
and master basic public policy advocacy skills, identify common
goals, develop mutually supportive strategies and design customized
campaign messages that will work in their region's political
landscape.
Judy Meredith will facilitate a panel of visiting faculty
members drawn from a pool of experienced practitioners who
work inside and outside the public policy arena. Selections
from Real Clout, The Real Clout Workbook, and
Lobbying on a Shoestring will be used to reinforce
classroom learning, and contact information for regional legislators
and key administration officials will be distributed during
the session.
For more information or to create your own customized series,
