As a coalition of immigrant groups, health care organizations,
legal service providers, labor groups, businesses, faith community
institutions and affected immigrants and their families, we
are working together to build a winning campaign that will
result in full restoration of health care coverage and will
stem the dangerous tide of further cuts to services for this
community.
Steve Grossman, current president of Mass Envelope Plus and
former chair of the Democratic National Committee, has agreed
to spearhead our civic committee. While still in formation,
the civic committee will consist of high profile leaders from
across the state whose influence in business, religion, labor
and community circles will help convince our legislative leaders
that legal immigrants deserve quality primary and preventive
